Need some enlightenment here... I am in a hunt for 37" - 42" LCD/Plasma TV but i am not sure which brand/model is good for my case. My set up will be on living room and mostly used to watch DVDs and movies from my laptop (no astro yet ). The dvd player in my house is just normal dvd player with s video support (no HDMI) but plan to get maybe a ps3 in the future. Can anyone recommend which LCD TV/ Plasma is good for me? currently i have ruled out samsung coz the colour is too vivid to my liking. Can anyone recommend me a good LCD/Plasma TV?

i just check today in Jusco, with the Jusco privilege discount i get 5% off. The stock for PV80h just arrived. I asked if they come with the HDMI cable they say don't have. I am not sure if this deal is ok? the price is 5,199 so after 5% its approx 4,940.

got my PV80 last week. Have the same HDMI and S video cable as a few post above I tried to hook up my macbook pro to the plasma using DVI to HDMI and i am able to view at 1080p resolution The image is very sharp and the colour are to my liking. Thanks to everyone who recommended this model.
