Which model? Mine is LC32A53M. If i switch off OPC, the light will not change dynamically. As i understand, each INPUT source can store it's own setting. Did u change to another INPUT source? (It'll revert to that setting for that source).

Btw, i have one problem.

I'm trying to connect my HTPC to my Sharp LCD.

It works with Component except there's overscanning which can be fix via the Nvidia control panel by reducing the resolution a bit.

However, i'm trying to achieve 1:1 pixel mapping. But i don't get any signal when i use VGA to VGA connection. It works in 640 x 480, 800 x 600, but will not accept anything higher! (It'll says incompatible signal). The LCD manual explicitly state it supports 1024 x 768 and 1360 x 768.

What gives?? rclxub.gif

Any ideas?

Anyone has try HDMI connection with a PC with this LCD?

Sony and Samsung have a joint venture in Korea to manufacture the LCDs panel. Yes, SONY does use Samsung panels. Recently, i think SONY join up with Sharp and will produce LCD with Sharp panels in the future. Not sure whether they'll still use the Samsung panels though.

So when u buy Sony LCD, you are actually buying Samsung..and Sharp LCD...but of course, the difference is in the DSP which makes the difference.

btw, SONY also use Sharp LCD previously in earlier batches of PSP, but switch to some other makes due to cost issue...so the earlier PSP actually have better quality LCDs...smile.gif
