I have these so-called 'Blu-Ray copies', which in fact is DL DVD. It is no way near Blu-ray be it PQ and AQ.

As for Reg 1 DVD compare to those ahem ver DVD, as long as it is copied from a good source (says Reg 1 DVD), it doesnt show any diff. Tested on LOTR Ext Ver Return of the King Reg 1 and Ahem ver. No diff in AQ and PQ (at least to me).

There is one special Olympic edition by Panasonic 32LX88MK. Only for Panasonic authorised dealers. Not sure abt the additional features. Yet to receive the details.

Anyone knows abt it?

1080p LCD TV - Tosh 42X3500E, Sony 40S4000, LG42LG53FR are below RM4.8K. What other full hd LCD TV also in this range, adrian?

Better only. Not overhauling plasma tv's performance. Yet to see that coming. But, if you are talking abt price, then I would agree on that.

Only for 32LX88MK (Olympic edition) - 3 yrs warranty. Other lcd tv models are 1 yr only.
