Bro, I thought PV80 only has Standard, Dynamic and Cinema mode ... got Game mode is it ???

I got pv80 can confirm there's no game mode..

I got my Panasonic 32" LX700 from there together with the official Panasonic HDMI and S-Video cables. Also managed to squeeze in the wall mounted bracket. As far as I know, the LX700 is a dated model of 2007 but the features are still updated to me when compared with the Samsung R8. What do you guys think?

One of the things that captured my interest is the V-Real II processor which does the up-scaling for SD video sources.

base on the us online menu, when u select yr lable as GAME. it will runs in game mode.

btw i found the audio kind of diffrent when watching bd via ps3 on the pv80. any setting to set that?

what about pixel shifting on px80? there isnt an option for malaysian version isit?

Yup, i hv same feeling as yrs. The 42" kuro showing the movie "doufoxian" got a lot of noise where the 50" showing "Chaiqin" concert is superb.

uhm.. i am using the adapter here and used the hdmi cable that comes along with the PV80H.

Bought it from HHEE. I only saw one booth dedicated for Panasonic. Didn't really researched much on the Panasonic brand because I was looking for Samsung, Sharp and Sony panels. However it was the feature and panel quality of the LX700MK that attracted me. The Sharp A53M looks good to me actually but it was a little soft to my liking unlike Panasonic with strong contrasting colors. Then I went to Best Denki KLCC shop to demo it because I wanted to see how Astro would look like. It was sufficient for me, the upconversion feature looks good.

yep, kuro means deep black in japanese.
however, to inform everyone, the pioneer full HD model will soon be beaten by panny full HD 42PY800.
this is proven in panasonic plasma factory in Amagasaki, Osaka.
(kuro in panny 42PY800 > kuro in Pioneer full HD model)

RM2699. Couldn't knock the price any lower so decided to bargain for more items into the deal. Ended up quite ok for me because the panel was in my opinion a better one.

I want to ask, which LCD/Plasma brand and series do you recommend for the BEST ASTRO viewing.

Because my family only watch ASTRO. thanks
