What current price for LX800? But this 2 model using same panel right? Just no 100mhz Motion Picture Pro and make the picture blur and whitish?

Oh well..I'm glad to report in, I'm quite happy with the LX80 performance, after spinning a few R1 DVD's and some concert stuff. Despite less whizz bang features of its more expensive brethren, I can't be worse off than people who bought last year's or 2 years ago models. Customized the display control on both LCD and DVD player to suit my own comfort level.
Its all OK  and suffice my couple of hours daily of watching TV lah..no point being too critical unless you insist, can afford it, have the leisure time and go full blast HT.

True, no point just to keep up with the joneses.

well,

if i were you, i would rather invest my money into panny 42PY800 or 50PY800.

for the purchase of 42PY800, i still have RM1k extra money for investing another gadget.

and i only add on another RM1k to get 50" bigger tv screen to enjoy even better motion movie.

actually u focus on the "FULL HD LCD sticker" or the picture quality?

paying RM7800 for a 46" LCD TV and to watch poor astro signal (i believe 60% of your watching program), i dont think is a worth of money. u will cry if u notice how poor the astro result is on the screen.

if people are to say that astro will improve the signal, and so LCD tv will be better. by that time, plasma tv can even display out higher and better picture result since now plasma tv is better than LCD tv on astro channel.

I got another question,  i ask around a few shop.... they shows me that PY80 (when we plug in our PC input) and set to 1024*768. It is showing a 4:3 format on screen, not 16:9....  HOW ABOUT PY800??? I FORGET to ask the shop fella... Will PY800 shows 16:9?  1 to 1 mapping??

He shows me Pioneer Kuro... HD ready Plasma but can support 1080p signal with no prob.... but the price... sigh..
