With the extra power and torque, its only natural that the engine would produce more heat, so Proton has installed an additional water-cooled oil cooler. This can be seen installed next to the oil filter. You can see a cylindrical object with heat sink fins.

er... don think this is the one gua??? hmm.gif
where u get the source from rcracer??

It's this one, it's not an oil to air cooler, but water to oil. Taken from paultan

Take good care of your cooling system, if that cooler gets stuck it's not any good anymore.

Donno if drop-in can give me performance on par with open pod.. Last time using open pod  drool.gif
Theoritically yes... but the smooth pickup performance makes me want to go faster. Been there, done that.  laugh.gif

Open pod for campro is not so advisable because difficult to build a good heatshield and CAI for it plus campro engines run very much hotter than mitsu engines

Has anyone here ever tested a non cps campro and see the difference?

It's been a few months already and no one seems interested

campro cps need another oil for cooling, right? When do we need to change this? Is the SC aware of this oil, like did they change it?  hmm.gif

The oil cooler cools the engine oil, not separate oil, the cooler is cooled by the radiator, it's a water-oil cooler

Chill lah, our tyres come from thailand or indonesia made from rubber most probably from malaysia, i think normal passenger car tyres won't have much increase if any. If you like performance tyres from japan or germany then it's a different story

hey people... just ordered a RM500 "supercharger" from my friend....

CONCEPT: an electric fan "forcing" more air in...
put it after the air filter... says it fits all 3" pipings.... activation of it is manually done by a button ... trying to put it next to the steering to make it look like NOS =p

should improve acceleration but not top speed i guess =) =)

WILL post pics when i recieve it!! =) =) see if it helps then i'll recommend it to u guys =)

anyone try with Honda engine oil in CPS?
Honda engine oil 10w-30...
I heard some my fren said that Honda engine oil hav good quality
*
Aiyoh what is this my friend my friend nonsense?

Does Honda manafacture lubricants in the first place or not? And all the other oils are BS? Ask your friend keep his honda this honda that to himself la please.

CPS uses oil pressure to activate the cam changes, stick to original specs unless you want a CPS that doesn't activate then claim that its faster than all other cars.
