My first experience in a Waja CPS was yesterday from LCCT. The feel is definately good; low-end pickup is like the original 4G18 Waja. But couldn't feel the high revs coz the driver was trying to save fuel. It was an NGV btw.

Ooooo, how's the engine sound when you sit behind(I assume you're passenger)? biggrin.gif

How can we increase our car performance? increase hp/ torque? Can someone list down the method/things that can be done? hmm.gif

hai guys...just a newbie here...good to see many proud owner of gen2 and waja cps owner here...i very like the new gen2 cps....i have some question.... how fast all of you have been with your cps....have u ever past 200 km/h...i saw a gen2 cps at LPT  highway near temerloh n its damn fast and its past my car with "woossh sound" even all my car window is close...very impress me since i like gen2 cps so muc...is your cps is that fast...

how about climbing a hill..is it still have feel lack of torque....and any transmission problem when going downhill like the old gen2...

at high speed how the car feel..stable or like wanna fly...i have experience sit in a neo 1.3 at speed of 200km/h and i think it still a very stable car....so with heavy body cps should be more stable rite...

how the lotus tune suspension working...is your cps is stick like a lizard during hi speed cornering? any too much body roll feel?...and how your cps  take a bump or potholes....is it smooth or bumpy...

and lastly are all of u satisfied with your cps even with some minor prob here and there....is it worth for the money u pay....

i asking all of these since i like gen2cps so much....tq in advance....
*
I drove waja cps, not gen2 cps blush.gif Till date, I'm satisfied with my ride smile.gif So far no problem except front fender sound(rectified by sc) and now there is a sound from right rear trye part....will ask the sc to check for it during 5k service.

Yesterday for the first time ever I drove past 130km/h...at 150km/h exactly.Late to office already tongue.gif At that speed, have a feeling no so stable anymore(becoz doing some zigzag...very dangerous shakehead.gif sweat.gif ).have to ask other owner for more info on high speed cruise..

I'm not sure how the performance of campro powered car when going uphill, but during my travel to north(PLUS) at the climbing part(terowong menora??)(after ipoh toll??), have no problem passing that point. maybe feel not enough power(maybe becoz i'm used to larger cc car tongue.gif ).

SO far, i'm impressed by this car, got enough power for normal driving, and also got power to rev2 the car drool.gif . Worth for me, coz the car is spacious, got executive feeling somemore laugh.gif icon_rolleyes.gif . PLanning to use this car for 5-7 years(depend on my economy, family need smile.gif at that time resale value should be around rm5k -5m10k tongue.gif )

You can ask owner of gen2 cps smile.gif

Captor is actually a tracker+immobilizer.  nod.gif

For Waja, I think they take out the 2-Din Navi (can be seen equip in the spy shots  thumbup.gif ). If there's an option to equip that, I will surely take it as most thief doesn't prefer an OEM unit as its harder to sell.  whistling.gif

Especially those who bought the 2008 batch... at least they who bought the 2007 batch got discount.  sweat.gif

As far as i know, there is no more campro waja manufactured in 2008. Stopped production last year smile.gif . Should be CPS in year 2008. rolleyes.gif
Actually, i wanna buy campro waja becoz got big discount. But after asking/looking for the car, cannot find shakehead.gif . only found one dealer selling the red color one. Told me can get big discount if buy it during cny whistling.gif .

Luckily, I managed to wait...for a few days. and the waja cps is out! rclxm9.gif . the day before launch already went to view the car, the day after tommorrow already book it brows.gif .

Hehe..sorry, my mistake. thought you're talking about waja blush.gif .

Actually, i've been eyeing waja since 2006, when it was released with campro engine. but no money that time cry.gif . so wait a few months until proton release the current rear lamp...also no money... waja facelifted(mc3) released..got money but spend it for other things(in other words no money also tongue.gif) . and last year received big bonus + higher salary rclxm9.gif thumbup.gif , can buy already whistling.gif . Hopefully no more new version of this waja biggrin.gif . if not, not the latest anymore tongue.gif

I'm driving MT Waja CPS, but for reference:

i. engine RPM at 100km/h?
About 3k. 4k rpm already 140.  brows.gif

ii. how good is the sound insulation? compare to honda city? anyone?
Never ride a Honda City before. But most people say Waja sound insulation is quite good. But remember that CPS uses a sportier exhaust setup, thus louder sound after 3.5 k rpm. For me, the sound is so sweet..  drool.gif

iii. does the car stable on high speed e.g 160kmh?
Stable enough for me (but I'm already using 16" rims with R3 suspension) until 180, but the wind sound is just  doh.gif

iv. the gear change for auto is smooth? how smooth compare tu myvi?
Never drove AT before.
*
My car is at 2.8k rpm cruising at 110km/h. hehe....140km/h if not mistaken at 3.8k hmm.gif

I say the AT waja is smooth, but can feel some jerking when change gear 1 to 2nd.(happen in the morning/engine still not fully warmed?)

Its actually depend a lot on the traffic condition of road where you often travel, like daily route from home to office and back to home again. If it always jammed, better to take AT. Less fatigue, especially when driving after works. sweat.gif

As for me, my work place is kinda small town/village area and only 3km from where I lived, no jammed. So, MT is the best.  thumbup.gif

The 1st step to mod is the intake and exhaust. Exhaust will certainly the best bang for buck upgrade but certainly wll void your warranty. That leave us with only the intake option.  laugh.gif

Never heard of belting upgrade..  hmm.gif

Changing plug cable will void your warranty. Even R3 state that changing plug cable is considered as stage 2 upgrade. Only stage 1 upgrade will not void your warranty.  sweat.gif

As for bodykit, the only advantage is that it enhance the visual appearence, but for aerodynamics, I really doubt that. How many bodykit manufacturer has access to wind tunnel? Unless they copy the OEM bodykit, such as Modulo and Mugen for Honda.  brows.gif

Vortex generator only works when combine with rear spoiler like Evo. Else, it useless.  whistling.gif
Why people so obsessed about FC when they bought a 1.6litre car.  rclxub.gif  Should just stick with Kancil or Viva.  thumbup.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

What is this stage thing? can elaborate more? What's intake? what does it take? laugh.gif
