Guys, now i am having quite some problems with the car,

1. The Dashboard vibrating sound still havent go off, very annoying.
2. Fender "nyuk-nyuk" sound come out already.
3. The Check engine light always come out after driving a certain distance.
4. I feel like the gear ratio very weird, when u slow down it actually shift to the lower gear where it will rev the rpm higher than pervious gear. For example, when i am in 4th gear i brake and slow down, it will shift to 3rd gear so fast that it actually rev to higher RPM, i think this will wear out the gear box faster and more damage to the gear box, and it is not so smooth when u drive.

I will go COE this monday to fix all the problem above. I hope they got a solution for the check engine light and the dashboard problem. Cannot tahan the sound anymore.

Other than that, so far so good.

Hmmm, about the gear box matter can it be adjust or tune? Because it seriously affect the fuel efficiency and driving pleasure.

The check engine i dont know whether it is for AT or MT only, but mine is AT.

I think i have to clarify again, the gearbox problem,

It is not when you break, it is like, when you going 100km/h 4th gear, if u slow down , released the acceleration pedal, normal AT car wont shift gear until certain speed, the waja one will shift earlier than it should be causing a rev in rpm...it is like normally we come down from genting, we use engine break by lowering the gear, this will have a pull back effect right, it is exactly same thing when we go down hill on normal road, although we didnt manually shift the gear, it shifts itself, in the D gear position.

So i was thinking is it possible to tune the gear ratio?

Hmm..i see...so basically that is normal for new AT car right.

And the check engine lights keep on coming out...very scare when i drive the car..

Is the complain department same as the service department, i can complain at the place that i service the car right?

Looks like this waja still have some quality control issue in it, tomorrow must go there complain already.

Bear in mind that the Mobil1 full Syn in carrefour is not same as those selling in service shop..

Hello guys, just came back from COE just now 6olock. I sent my car 8olock in the morning.

Two complaints has been made:

1. Dashboard vibrating sound - Haven't fixed properly, but they claim they did tighten all the parts inside but still having the same problem. I was told by a chief mechanic to go back tomorrow as they will open the whole dashboard to check.

2. Check engine light - So far haven't come out again after i pickup my car, they clarify it is due to some "Trouble Code". I dont know wht is that but it is some kind of programming bugs i think. So far okay already.


Tomorrow going COE AGAIN =.= Haizzz lucky i am on holiday now!

Anyway about the K&N filter, how much is it?.

I dont know wass wrong with my ride...

The vibrating sound now okay abit already but still can still got sound at 4th gear 2.8k-3k rpm...

Now my problem is...THE CHECK ENGINE light come out again....Call COE they ask me send back again....

Already 3 days in a row i report myself at COE....WTF is going on...

Previously they say is troublecode? I dont know wass that thing but this check engine light definitely is a serious problem.

I am wondering what if the check engine light cant be fix, what will they do...

My door handle there, outside one, got one black rubber which surround the door handle fell off, only 1 side, wonder can i claim warranty for that?

The front fender "nyek-nyek" sound who got it fixed? Mine come out again...shit...

I am so frustrated with the nyek-nyek sound come from the left front of the car... and i hear some buzzing from right side back near the door there...and my check engine light come out again today...

Anyway, i found that my steering has buzzing sound when i take corner, anyone same?

I just applied the Rain-X on my windscreen hehe...effect is satisfied!

Mine problems currently:

1. Front left side nyek-nyek noise
2. Back left side buzzing noise
3. Dashboard vibrating sound
4. Check engine light on

Added on May 2, 2008, 6:47 pmUpdates on Check engine lights : It came out again when i was going up genting yesterday. Now i realised that it will come out once u rev the car more than 4k rpm or continuosly driving at high speed!

Today i went to COE but too full until the TA ask me come back again or go Proton Platinum on monday.

I plan to go Proton Platinum see whether they can fix it , if not i am going to report to I-care! Ask them change new car for me! hahahahah
