hks - sponge, wash n straight use...
k&n - washable paper if not mistaken. need oiling after washing...

its all about how fine can the dust ca be filtered out... k&n is better interms of filtration... so get cleaner engine...

both are better than stock air filter...

so for all of us enjoying the increase in horsepower rite...
for me im still taking my time running in my engine... still can feel da difference...

just went thru da manual book... for gen2 went the empty tank light's up, still got 8 liters left... counting in inaccuracy and safety margin, maybe can go around 40~60km depending on driving style...

time to fit driving light... maybe 4300k is not bright enuf...

well at least the aircond is good... i set my temp at 25, fan speed at minumum in da morning, abit higher in noon, wont past half...

im getting mine earlier.... at 700km... need to travel to pasir gudang, scared dont have time to service went reach 1k... doing it in melaka...

will take some after service n wash... dirty because of flying bugs...

im oledi going for my 1st service, less than 1 week, 5 days to be exact...

i dont like my seat...

im so used to da seating position of recaro seat.... da incline adjustment is much more refine... da new gen2 seats are just cosmetic onli...

done my 1st service, rm101 for semi syn, oil filter, oil sump washer... less than 1/2 hour... drive in, service centre in Alor Gajah, Melaka...

FC report - rm50 - 330km before 1st service... 50/50 drive... abit better than my wira oledi...

how bout gen2 campro and gen2 cps... same air box?? wanna change the air filter soon... even the guy in garage thread not sure...

sphiroth is our cps grandmaster...

got back from pasir gudang yesterday... saw a cps user on saturday nite, direction from pasir gudang, midnite blue JKT ****...

finally manage to test full tank FC, 300km highway, 200km trafic infested city drive, rm80=500km... not bad ehh...

so everybody wondering bout da 10k service interval... even for full syn, its better to change it at 8k... another thing i doubt the oil filter can last until 10k... before this im using shell semi syn, i use it for 5k before changing it...

btw... when i went for my 1st service, i ask wanna use mineral oil... but they say cps cannot use mineral, must use at least semi syn... is this true or just bull...

but still we have got da answer for da 10k service period... isit good enuf to make sure the engine can last long... wanna stick to 5k interval with semi syn(going to use shell) + oil filter change... at da same time keep da warranty for the engine valid... 5 years service at Proton SC...

on a diff note... i think the empty tank light is not accurate... on friday, when i filled up after light, i paid rm80... yesterday only pay rm70, same case...

try driving constant around 110~120... coz i was cruising at 120 all da way from air keroh to jb... so da rpm will be around 3.4~3.6k...

maybe becoz mine is auto...

from ur pix, gen2 cps also have the same air as waja cps...

event the engine layout is the same for gen2 cps and waja cps... heck the snorkel is also the same... need to use screwdrive to open the air box kan??
