im driving a proton iswara. lately, whenever i accelerated my car o when i go uphill, my engine will produce sound similar to pinging. i did some researches and found tat it was because my ignition timing was not 'pretty' enough. so guys, do u have any recommendation for a good/reliable tuner which can help me with the problem? i may have asked the same question as from the previous thread, but i was a bit lazy to go thru all the threads from v1 - now. hehe

yeap... pinging sound happen because ignition timing is abit too advance... retard it a little bit... loosen the 2 bolt holding the distributor... facing ur distributor, turn anticlock wise....

u want more accurate tuning, go to workshop and tune... normal workshop would usually have timing light to check and tune it accurately...  icon_rolleyes.gif
