QUOTE(neosaint99 @ Apr 27 2008, 03:39 AM) bro i read the rules of "the fast & the furious" section, there is no such prohibition to post blog link.anyway the blog is just something I promised a few months ago. if i were to post everything here it would be too much and would be gone when we move to another version. cheers, loving my saga. |

QUOTE(=Hanxz= @ May 20 2008, 11:49 AM) hey guys cheers for the purchase bro!just got a 91 year old saga and i found the mileage meter won't move went to the mechanic in ss2 that guy quoted me 220 to change the whole thing, any other way that can fix it one ar since its the mileage only and not the acceleration and rev i got the same problem when i took my car in february. people keep telling me to change the cable, so yeah i go check, it's not the cable it's the meter itself. lucky for me there's someone selling original old saga meter, RM 80, on the saga iswara club forum. bought it, changed the meter myself and now am very happy to see that the odometer is working. but an old car is an old car; now that the meter is working, my fuel warning light rosak pulak (sometimes on even when i just fill RM50 worth of petrol)... but that's what i like about old cars, always something to fix one. cheers. btw when i went to one workshop in TTDI, he quoted me RM180 to change the whole thing, so you might be able to nego still. all the best bro. Added on May 21, 2008, 6:49 am QUOTE(the_catacombs @ May 21 2008, 06:43 AM) Kah Chai. can ah bro? sorry la I pandai pandai put capitals. anyway currently i am having one of it as my spare already, and going to sell it all in one go, hehehe. EDIT: sorry the OEM rim size is 13" not 14", cheers. Added on May 21, 2008, 7:09 am QUOTE(kevinlim001 @ May 16 2008, 09:55 PM) 150km/h+ le not dare go futher already.. the car float like boat already true true, i also am getting 150 km/h only so far, really don't dare to push somemore. i think my shocks and spring dead already since the car is so old, that's why feel the car floating. next upgrade should be my whole suspension system, hopefully can lower the car just by 1", I really hate to go "snake" on road bumps lah This post has been edited by pojam: May 21 2008, 07:09 AM |

QUOTE(kevinlim001 @ May 21 2008, 10:18 AM) y u still keep ur engine? u done transplant or u wreck ur car and only the rims and engine left? if u done transplant y not sell it to the guy where u bought ur engine? second hand engine doesn't fetch high price unless u sold it by parts no bro it's just the carburetor that i upgraded. Added on May 21, 2008, 10:24 am now already going like snake still wan lower ur ride ar... VIP style? also currently on 15" rims my car still safe no need to "snake" when facing road bumps. so going to lower a bit more only for better handling. |

QUOTE(singchaii @ May 25 2008, 09:58 PM) yokohama is a good brand.. Magnum always use yokohama car battery for the machine. If use other brand, cannot claimed. Haha.. That why my dad bought alot yokohama car battery for his magnum. look for weber DGAV 32/36.sifu sifu sekalian.. Wanna ask, can change engine sound like vtec engine ar? When vtec activate, from bassy will change to high pitch sound and that sound is so great.. Thinking wanna do on my car when high rev.. izit possible? Haha.. I mean sound only. for normal speeding it will use the 32 jetting (save petrol) but when you floor the pedal, the 36 kicks in, giving you the necessary power you need. I'm currently on weber DCNF 40. really bad fuel consumption, RM 50 = 220 ++ km only. but I drive also quite aggressive lah. cheers. |

QUOTE(wkho555 @ May 25 2008, 11:42 PM) bro, weber = universal carburetors.so as long as your car is running on carbs, you can fit in weber carbs. so far from what i gather the types starts from DGAV, DCNF, DCOE. DGAV = most fuel efficient DCNF = intermediate fuel/power ratio DCOE = use petrol like water but power is the best lah. I am thinking about getting the extractor from Powerzone. Anyway paycheck's coming soon already, hooray for my car! Cheers. |

QUOTE(neosaint99 @ May 26 2008, 09:54 AM) wahhh I don't really mind my fuel consumption, so I did not really counted how much I spent this month already.8+km/L?! like that i ko already man thats worse than a wira auto with the 3gears gearbox hahaha your petrol bill per month how much lar? can share? I just topup RM 50 whenever the petrol is near empty. so far this month I think I've topup 5-6 times? not so sure. anyway it's actually been really bad since I did my exhaust. before that when I use the stock saga exhaust, the FC still quite okay. btw catacombs & dopeisgood, your idle RPM is how much? (mine is 1k RPM) and when you turn on AC compressor? (mine is 700-800RPM) you guys did the linkage/FICD thing? (going to do this also lah) linkage/FICD is when you turn on aircond and it would not affect the engine performance that much. cheers, and good morning. i'm going out to make a validation of a police report and go claim insurance (bike stolen at cineleisure damansara a few days ago). thank god it was insured as comprehensive. Added on May 26, 2008, 10:21 am QUOTE(singchaii @ May 26 2008, 10:05 AM) Guy, I gonna go for KT already.. wait me come back only continue spam with you all.. Take care ya. QUOTE(Gilbert5107 @ May 26 2008, 07:40 PM) second hand unit is about 350-550, air filter is around 250, installation & mod the mounting is around 100-200...start saving now bro, cheers. EDIT: if you are still studying, i'd advise against putting a weber since your fuel consumption would be really really expensive. This post has been edited by pojam: May 26 2008, 08:17 PM |

btw, dopeisgood & catacombs, my car have to really wait until the car warm up (the temp meter goes one notch up), otherwise, the car is very prone to dying... you face the same thing?
