Bro,

Who told you he paid 20K but never come collect afterwards ??

I suppose it has to be 'cash', of course. Last time I checked, Powerzone accept only cash and not cattle tongue.gif

RM20k for the mod? It too much already.. I rather sell that iswara, use sale money + RM20k, get a wira sedan 1997 and taruk evo3 engine. Performance more good.. Wira sedan 1997 the expensive I see baru 8k.. You still got 12k++ to play with the engine.. More worth. Hahaha.

As far as I know that 20K is not just for engine mods alone. That Iswara is getting the full treatment :- engine transplant, EFI, piggyback, PnP, blueprinting & balancing, driveline, suspension, chassis upgrades, brake system, etc.

Just my 2 cents, but it really depends what you had in mind and which direction you want to go with the modding. As far as having 12K to play with engine mods and an evo3 engine, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that direction of course. I have been thinking however that evo3 half-cuts now cost around 7.5 to 8.5K. Not much left then of your original 12K for other mods after deducting all the workmanship charges etc. ...unless we assume you just transplant the engine and leave it as it is in the same condition you bought it. What about upgraded brakes, chassis, and suspension to a 1997 Wira to handle turbo power ?

Powerzone is a complete package, as far as I can tell. So whether you are getting a half-cut or whatever, the blueprinting part of the service will make sure your engine will be like brand new after they have done with it.

I suppose it is a bit more pricey than someone who went out and got their own 2nd-hand engine and then shoehorned it into their engine bay.

I've been fortunate enough to compare their work to other folks who also mod their Iswara on their own and trust me that Powerzone knows what they are doing. Their work is very refined.

Similar to that 140hp White Iswara that was in Hypertune. Different to him in the sense that some of the components are not the same but all in all should be minor differences. He's using Unichip, I'm on SMT

I haven't run it the way they did with that Hypertune White Iswara but performances should be similar. As far as I know, that Hypertune White Iswara will rev all the way to 8K, can reach 200kph on 4th, and have reached speeds 240+ kph

All from a 4g15 LOL

You 4g13 and suspension modified onot ? If stock, you must be pretty brave to take an Iswara to those speeds hehehe

By the way, I know of one regular at ZTH with the same picture signature as you. Can it be ?

For the poster who asked, it's RM 550

Just so you know, it's not cheap. When Hypertune tested it on their brand new Satria Neo project car, they only got a 1hp improvement on the dyno. Apparently, the new car was more or less performing close to optimum and any potential gains from something like a crank pulley is probably minimum. But as you read the kaichia review, the reviewer did say that the car is livelier with more torque and response on the lower gears. So dyno numbers alone is probably not the full picture. I guess it also has to do with how the power comes on and not just how much peak power.

Anyway, it's your money and your call. Let us know what you think if you actually decide to install it. If you want to play NA, very generally speaking you'd get the most hp gains from better cams but most people don't just install better cams and leave it at that. They will usually complement the cams with the other typical NA mods.

I think crank pulleys are more of a support mod to round up a project rather than being a main hp gainer. Still it's nice to have if you can afford it.

Most likely :-

Fluffy dice dangling from rear-view mirror
Soft toys stacked on the rear window panel
Tissue box wrapped in pink-colored Pokemon cover
Garfield toy stuck to side-window
'P' Licence sticker
'I go to KDU' sticker
'Baby On Board' sticker

...and two large 'spotlights'

Now my tyre running pressure 38psi. surprising I get more comfort and car feel lighter. Today from federal highway pek till tun sambathan in raining day. Very happy with the ultra bar and new tyre.  smile.gif

Which tyres are these ? 38psi seem very high for Iswara. I thought recommended pressure is 29 psi for 14". On 15" its suppose to be even lower (28psi) according to conversations with Powerzone.
