I read about Colon Hydrotheraphy, cleansing the colon using water. There seem to be many benefits of this treatment as it will remove stools and clears the colon of accumulated excess over the years. Watch this with patience, i find it very interesting.

Colon Hydrotherapy

Anyone done this before & where is the best place to do this in Klang Valley?

Check with a doctor upon doing any of this type of procedure / operatiions.

Might seem like a good idea or give some results in the short term, probably have no idea what's it going to do to you in the long run.

Cheers

If it's damaging then how come many websites claim it's effectiveness? I'm thinking of trying out but need to know where is a good & affordable place to do it.

I think it will STRESS your colon. What kinda bacteria ? Bad bacteria nvm ... good bacteria can replenish.

Do some combo mix fruit juices, like orange+carrot are fruits which are pretty good for your colon (or so i was told) .. There's a few combination .. Do some googling and i believe your answer will be answered if you try it.

I heard that colon hydrotherapy will flush out the toxins that cannot be flushed by fibre or detox juices. Some will even see buttons/items swallowed when they were a baby flush out!

looks intresting, but it may cause the colon walls to thin. It's holistic meds, so there;s not much scientific backing.

but having something stuck up my ass....DO NOT WANT. DO NOT WANT. DO NOT WANT. DO NOT WANT. DO NOT WANT. DO NOT WANT. DO NOT WANT.

Good preparation for buttsecks. keeps it clean.

There's a place in Plaza Damas, Sri Hartamas that does it. A friend did it there and thought it was the best thing she ever did. I personally have not and prolly will not do it but to each his own!

Just do it, I doubt the body is so fragile that it can't withstand an enema.

The people who say no, will probably not think twice when going for chemotherapy, brain surgery etc.

Approximately two million people in this country have colon problems such as colitis, ileitis, and diverticulitis. A Coloniccolonic, or colon hydrotherapy, is a cleansing of the colon using a warm water flush that lasts about 45 minutes per session along with 15 gallons of water.

colon therapy requires you to flush with bleach .. lol
flushing indah water pipes requires strong acids/alkaline

there's no such thing as colon therapy ... eat lotsa fibre with adequate vit c for easy toileting ... for the rest of 2 million colon sufferers, it's their choice not to eat fibre ...

colon therapy is just a pseudo-science thing ... legally it's fake .. but you could continue to believe it (democracy)

gosh, this is real dangerous...
these machine should only be use by medical specialist/gastro surgeon...not supposingly to use commercially like this...

yes, it's possible to do irrigation..but it's not for the commercial usage, indicate in condition like constipation etc...
you can rupture your colon if too much pressure are pumped inside...
further more, diverticulitis are totally contraindicated for this ...

and flushing with water will cause dilutional hyponatraemia....very dangerous...i hope they are using at least a normal saline for this purpose...

sometimes, i hope the alternative medicine don't go too far because this therapy is too invasive ...
and one more,
i hope these machines are operate by doctors, under strict review of patient before go tru the therapy.

i just can't see the rational behind flushing the colon like tat...

My advice,
1. make sure that centre is registered with the malaysian medical council (MMC).
2. make sure that the doctors there are qualified and registered with the MMC
3.ask for the complication rates - bowel perforation etc...

why?
because there had been cases where there were complications and even d**ths but no action can be done because MMC does not have power on those not registered.

Some might argue that the complication rates are 0.1% meaning 1 in 100.
But to the patients,
it is 100%.

so, think twice about doing this.

Hi,

Yes, it's know as colonic as well and I have tried it. Usually there are both ways in saying. But what i see and told, the water are filtered by 15 filtration and the water are treated and passed in terms of hygenic, water condition and etc.. and its simple with the use of the machine. They will make sure the water pressure is not too high and just right. you will feel the tube as it goes in your rectum, but it wont hurt due to lubricants.

I would recommend that as the newer generation who are exposed to variety of food and some "rubbish/junk" food (McD, chips, etc). As per myself, i try to keep it to minimum as possible due to health.

Keeping the detox as our lifestyle actually can tell by the skin condition and the way we present.

But I do know that Colonic could be harmful, although i started with Colonic. but now i changed to coffee enema which is dead cheap and you could do it @ home base. (please dont think the coffee as the one we drink it - its different). If you like to check out google on web.

After the coffee enema, I do it twice a day and I feel extra-light and more energy. My skin shines and I know my skin loves the detox..

This is just my sharing.. no offence or selling anything.

Added on October 27, 2009, 4:30 pmIf you really uncertain, I have a friend of mine, who also have a center in PJ which you could easily refer to:

My-Life Centre
D-3-30 3/F Block D,
8 Avenue, Section 8 Business Centre
46050 Petaling Jaya
Selangor

I know the family and they have spend many years researching on all the alternative and western healing. Its someone I can give credit to.

There is another one at Jalan Ipoh called Arogya...I did mine there recently. A doctor does it, and not some colon hydrotherapist...very nice guy. All their supplements and herbs are from Melaleuca which are the best pills to use.

Am extremely happy with my sessions.

Hi... I was also searching for a clinic in KL to do the procedure.
Can you provide me the address / telephone number for this place or the doctor ?
Even better their website smile.gif THANKS

*************

NB : FYI , I am a foreigner here in KL for a short period and hence Not promoting any procedures or clinics.
I was searching for a clinic and I read here some of the comments . So want to just share my personal experience about Colon Hydrotherapy .

Some of my family members and myself have undergone this procedure in the past.
If performed in a professional clinical envoirenment, its not embarrassing nor uncomfortable.
It detoxifies your body and eliminates lot of toxic waste- this results in visible benefits to your skin smile.gif
My sister-in-law's face was always breaking out in spots, (she has consulted dermatologists, taken medication but the problem did not go away) and she suffered severe constipation problems.
After the Colon cleansing her skin had cleared completely. Its been 2years since she had the procedure, but her skin remains clear.
I myself suffered from lack of energy, bloating of the stomach, severe gastritis, migraines and insomnia. After the treatment had a flatter belly smile.gif and noticeable relief from gas problems and migraines .

Its said that , over the years, waste matter will accumulate and harden along the walls of the Colon ( Imagine carrying around between 2-5 kilos of waste matter stuck in the colon! ) tongue.gif
The toxic waste build up is a potent breeding ground for bad bacteria. These Toxins re-enter your blood stream. As a result the Body can suffer from : migraines, constipation, bad breath, skin problems, fatigue, insomnia, hypertension or even depression and anxiety.

***Hope it helped !

Wall of the colon is very very thin. If fact, when a gastroenterologist does an endoscopy, he/she can even see purplish patch at right colonic flexure which corresponds to liver. in short, you can see your liver from your colon. and inserting something into anus can cause diverticulum which could be dangerous (leading to perforation).
Colon hydrotherapy is used in clinical setting, preparing patients for colon surgery. Having said that, since it is invasive (and higher risk of causing injury), gastroenterologists prefer to give Fortrans orally to clear the colon.
So, colonic hydroscopy,is it safe? Think yourself and ask doctors around.
Do you think the advantages outweigh the risks?

Btw, based on newly released statistics involving Malaysians, colorectal cancer has taken over lung cancer as the no. 1 cancer among males. no3 among females.
so, eat more fruits and vege is the safest option.

The location of the one I went to is:

Aryoga Holistic Centre
No 6 Jalan Vethavanam
3 3/4 Miles Off Jalan Ipoh
51100 KL

PM me if you need specific directions or require some information about the place. All equipment used there are new and the pills/herbs they give out are from Melaleuca, hence the best. If you're really interested, you shud go there.

Yes it is safe with current techniques with a view of the low risk of perforation. I wanted to provide an explanation but Im no doctor, just a patient. But anyway, I've been for four invasive surgeries in my life, and everything has risk if not done right.

I live in PJ and have done colon hydrotherapy since year 2005. I used to have a lot of health complaints like indistion, back aches, migraine and chronic fatigue and has no regret for doing it. Though initially i am skeptical about the procedure and hearing from some, i decided to experience the therapy as it has a lot of contradicting opinion on the net. I decide to view it from my own experience and not hearing from those whom they have not do it themselves but simply critisize and condemn it. I did it in a centre at the heart of PJ where the therapists give me 5 star care and service.

Yes I have done it before. It's just an internal colon spa. Take it easy with a rational mind and you wll be able to accept it. When you accept it, you will benefits from the cleansing. It's not just cleaning the colon but a lot more .... it give you instant relief of fatigue and help you to overcome headaches and aches. My therapist told me this is because once the colon is cleaner, the whole body detox better.

I know a very good doctor to recommend for colonic hydrotherapy (and generally for alternative medicine). Very patient, addresses your personal health issues (rather than giving general advice on health etc) and is very experienced.
