Shaving private hair is not something abnormal. However, care have to be taken if you were to shave your hair. First of all, use some shaving cream. Then select a good and sharp shaving blade. Finally, shave along the hair growth and not against it. If you shave against it, the hair will ingrown when it grows later causing irritation.

Another good way is to just trim them. Trim them short but not too short that you'll accidentaly cut yourself.

Try it at a small area to see the effect before you decided to go with it.

Try to look closely, you might have ingrown hair. That's the result of trimming the opposite of where the hair is growing. You can always buy Watson's nose hair trimmer, replace the head with the sideburn trimmer then trim it. That way, there'll be no skin close shave, but you'll still be able to see your 'bulu'. Pretty cool to have spiky bulu..heh heh..
