yeah. it's increase by 250 more than past year.
we can only if we got sponsorship from JPA/MARA. or the asasi program<--most of the asasi related to medic. if we quit hal-way we have to pay the penalty. not sure how much.

QUOTE(arsenwagon @ Apr 27 2008, 03:02 AM) yes, for USM u can enter with physics..... that's why physics is more flexible. wait... do you mean that physic student can enter USM for medicine? wow! never thought of that. If I choose Science Physical course in my matric application, can I change to Life science later on? wanna ask. what is the difference between MBBS and doctor of medicine(MD)? what is the minimum matriculation pointer to enter USM "doktor Perubatan" course? QUOTE(arsenwagon @ Apr 27 2008, 02:46 PM) quoted from http://www.medic.usm.my/undergraduate/inde...yqualificationsMB BS, MB ChB, BM BCh, BMed, MB BChir, MD, MDCM, BM BS, Dr.MuD, Dr.med are all doctors. dont need pening pening juz treat them all as equivalent. MBBS if im not mistaken is used only by commonwealth countries. yes u can change ur course from fizikal to hayat and vice versa from what ive read in other forums. that mean, an MD graduate will do the same job as MBBS graduate and can do specialist as MBBS grads. am i right?

QUOTE(arsenwagon @ Apr 28 2008, 08:12 PM) yeah, its possible. its not only in msia. even my dad's time, he took physics for a levels coz he said it gave him more options. he was turned down for medicine coz they didnt accept foreigners and he still could do something else. r u really2 sure? no offense just need a final and right answer. sorry if my question hurt ur feeling. can anybody here clarify if there is physical science student joining medic for degree in USM, UKM, or UPM? from their requirement, i'll be eligible to enter it for MD course. if they do accept, what's my chance of entering it? @hyperx do you meet or know any physical science student admitted into medical course?

Actually, i'm not asking for UM. i'm asking for USM, UPM, or UKM MD program.
they dun state requirement of bio, just that they either physic or bio in matriculation with pass in BI during SPM.
can you help me check with that?
