I've always heard of OATS being very healthy food but what about nestum. I kinda love both especially I just take a tsp of either and mix it in MILO. But when just eating either one with just a mix of hot water. I kinda prefer nestum over oats.

Just wondering which one do you guys prefer and reason.

you can always add berries, appricots, or fruits inside.. i think oats + raisins should be nice, never try though

Wahahaa........ berries in malaysia aren't exactly very cheap. sweat.gif , beside strawberry la

Nestum is a refined junk food. Don't believe that, get a diabetic to eat this junk everyday and his sugar level will shoot up. Or ask an obese guy to eat it everyday and his weight will shoot up.

Muesli from wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muesli

Anyway with Muesli the oats taste a lot better, if I were to just eat oats by itself, I probably mix it with my whey protein therefore it would taste like a milkshake with a good source of fibre.

Nestum is generally not a good idea as it is heavily processed and mixed with high amount of sugar whereas muesli sugar is mainly from its fruits which is far easier to burn or process compared to Nestum.

Cheers

WOW this is very surprising. I've always thought both are from same kinda stuff but different way to make it ..hehehe ...
After the EGG topic, i might be considering to get OATS to put in my office .....hehehee

I'm eating oats currently, no special cooking, just some tablespoons of Quaker instant oats then cook with boiled water.

I recall that I mistook Nestum as oats last time and ate it, it tastes much better than oats but then its not as nutritious as oats so I eat oats instead of Nestum. To tell the truth, I almost vomit the first time I eat 8 tablespoons of oats >_>

When i was young, my mum always made it for me. I had no other choice but to grab Spoonful of milo to mix it so there's a little extra taste in it. When she saw me doing that ... blink.gif i see the "HAND" coming towards me cry.gif .....

I know you you feel .... hahahaha ..... at least you didn't have the "HAND" attacking you rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif
