Accelerometer
When you rotate ur K850i from portrait to landscape, the accelerometer detects the movement and changes the display accordingly.
but seems like this function is quite buggy for K850 and its might fix with other FW updates..hope so
btw,regarding ur cam shutter,is an advice to go for SE Service center to fix it back.
its more on the mechanical component faulty.

if still under warranty i think u will not be charged
but if no warranty,i believe its not more than 100 bucks.maybe it depends on the problem.

da test master reset? @ boot without M2

try reformat ur M2 using pc,but make sure u backup ur data in ur M2 card.
after reformat just let ur phone format itself but it will prompt for a pin code,its suppose 0000.
just let ur phone format it.
and its done..try ur self ya bro

I just upgraded to R1FA035 firmware. No BROD problem. Upgrade went smoothly. Took less than 30 minutes.

Camera seems the same except for a very obvious improvement in the flash. Seems like daylight flash in working properly. However night time flash has not been tested.

Video cam seems the same as before.

Picture browser same

Music player is even faster. Using 4GB memcard with 700mb of songs. Loads whole list of songs and album art very fast, almost instant.

All other functions seems the same as the previous previous firmware. I skipped one firmware. I think i was using R1EA031 and skipped R1EA035.

Battery life will be tested.

ok,format ur M2 using pc and just reconnect the USB cable,after that ur phone will restart and it will prompt a format request,u just continue and insert the 0000 code.it will format it.
and after that u connect back ur phone via USB and perform defragmenting using pc,
i got video sync issue yesterday
wif latest firmware 035,this should not happen coz its fix this bug,
but yesterday after some heavy gaming wif my K850,suddenly i watch video and find out voice is faster than mouth
so i defrag my M2 card using pc  and its done

I wonder why my k850i when i take pictures without flash, it is very blur.. just like a VGA camera without auto focus.... Any ideas?

but purple fringe still exist but sumtime jer
no planning to sell it for now...im loving it

You've updated our firmware already? Cause my purple fringing was lessened almost to 0 after update to R1EA031 and R1FA035. I think they have tweaked the image processing already.

this is why K810i still hot selling until today   

not recommend though... seems lik tis hp still have their unsolved prob... better hunt for other model... jus my suggestion.. (2 times ex owner of k850)
