hi. im new to this thread.
i wud just like to ask some questions.
i bought my set from BBS distributions. met a dealer.
d set i dapat is china set( manuals in chinese, handphone keypad has chinese & english , earphones & USB cable says made in china).

1. Does it means my set is water set?
2. Is my set a REAL SE k850i or imitation? so far all da features are workin like d normal one . i noe this cuz my fren is usin k850i also.
3. Are SEk850i's made in CHINA?

Ha. My phone is also made in China.
I guess you just have to check if the IMEI of the phone with the one printed at the box.
Make sure they are the same number.
Maybe it's not a water set, probably an AP from China set, like mine.

AP set has SIRIM approval sticker at the battery compartment, while water set normally does not have them

the fake sirim sticker does exist at market

now satisfy with my phone

lol, the waterset that i saw did not have sirim sticker, guess some sellers just wouldn't care abt it, unless they plan to stick the sirim sticker then sell it as AP or Ori

i think details picture this k850 is better than my previous K800..
but white thingy its over expose lor..is it my camera faulty or anything about its setting?
some of it got purple color..

is this the same tint issue found on P1i as well? P1i's is green. this is purple.

which FW version in ur phone?

patient dude, do a master reset(without data) would help it up

even "recon" set has sirim sticker if the set was ori/ap
waterset is the one reli illegal to be sold in malaysia, without the approval of the authority nor the manufacturer itself (ever heard of the term "smuggled out"?)
but other than that the phone is pretty much the same as AP/Ori, minus the warranty
