Maybe ur phone region hasn't updated its firmware which is unlikely to occur since the latest firmware had been out for quite some while..nevertheless..you should ask the shop where u buy it to update it.

bro..it's just updating the firmware..won't even take an hour..by region is where ur phone comes from..which region..either asia,europe and likewise..since AP phones come from everywhere..and that's maybe why u can't update ur phone yet since the region which ur phone came from hasn't released the firmware..that's just my assumption.

I'm using a Java appz called Filelock.
It is intended to lock your files with a password (the password only locks the software (Filelock) and Filelock will lock your files). Got what I mean?

It also support 'locking' a folder to 'simplify' locking multiple files. You should try it. I'm using it in my K530i and K850i now.

edit: Filelock.zip is attached. Just transfer the file to your K850i and run it. Make sure you select to allow read & write user data during installation & during first time running the app.

my bad, it was on original firmware when i bought the phone but not to the latest firmware

btw, using k800 previously,but this K850 is below my expectation..
too buggy,and camera quality not good as K800 except macro mode
edy updated to latest 037
btw..still waiting newer FW
i miss my k800 so much

luminous green was my first choice but I took quicksilver after i saw this new color

Yeah i know you can still access the FOLDER, but not the FILES. Try locking your Pictures folder. Then you can still opn the folder and see the icons of the images, but you cannot open it.
