There's BBQ Kong Meng duck rice at Taman Maju Jaya, it's the best
duck I've tried although some blog said Loong Foong Duck in
Paramount PJ is tasty, yet to try that one. Tried Sun Ming duck in Connaught b4, still find the one at Maju Jaya is tastier.
As for char siew, I've 2 stalls to rekomen, one is a chinese coffee shop name Uncle Meng near Kafe Pat Kin Pat San at Taman Shamelin. Only open during lunch time, I think Sunday is close.
And on my list best char siew is the one at Jalan Peel. Opposite Carrefour, there's Shell Station, and this char siew stall is almost nxt to this petrol station. Hard to miss as there'll be large crowd during lunch time especially weekends.
The char siew is available after 11am and also this stall got 'Lou Chue Yuk', small portion about rm10, big one around rm18, quite tasty as well.
Not open for dinner. Yet to try Overseas Restaurant Imbi char siew where some blogs claimed it's tasty, will try one day.
For claypot chicken rice, there's one economical clapot chic rice at Taman Segar. Quite tasty also. There's a few stalls at the roadside near Perodua car showroom, one is Tai Chau, another one is where many ppl go to eat the 'Cheung Jing' or 'Ching Jing' fish, n nxt to it is this Claypot chic rice.
Small one without Salted fish is rm5.50, for big one is rm11. Small sup is rm3 and big sup is rm6. I went there few times for dinner, according to the helper, opens for lunch n dinner but close on Friday.
In Pandan Indah, the Kow Siew Stall which specialise in Sang Har Mee is also yummy. It's nxt to Old Town Kopitiam. Frankly, I never eaten Sang Har Mee b4, normally will order the Ying Yeung minus the prawn, or Kong Chau Ngau Hor (beef kuew teow).
There's also this bat kut teh Keong Khee in Pandan Indah. Near Kow Siew also. Besides bat kut teh, got sell assam fish, claypot wine chicken, n other varieties as well. Never try the Ginger duck here b4 as when order, they always say takde though it's on the menu. Can anyone give komen whether the ginger duck here nice or not.
There's this tasty crab stall near STAR LRT. Unsure if the LRT name is Cahaya or Cempaka. It's a row of stall, opposite some condo. Got many ppl frequent the Yee Tau Mai stall which is just nxt to this crab stall.
The last I went is few years ago, though the stall is not pretty/clean, but many ppl especially on weekends. U know chinese lah, as long as food is good, they'll go though premises not that clean. But crab ain't cheap. Last time is around rm38 kg(few years ago), but the Shuen Lat (sweet n spicy) crab is really really tasty. 2 ppl eat, 1.5kg crab wth other dishes, maybe around rm100++ d.
Then there's this famous Woo Pin Fish Head Noodle in Cheras, also a chicken rice stall at Pandan Perdana, chee cheong fun in Yulek. Tasty Pei Tan Soh and egg tart at Toong Kee, Connaught.
I not that good in direction, if u really wanna know the location, maybe can PM me, I try explain d direction or show the food blog where got the above review.
Pls rekomen also where got nice food in KL/Cheras area. About the Jeffrey's place at Queen's Park, Peel Road, i saw this place b4, but what's the food there, western, chinese? Tasty? How's the price? Those who try b4, kindly advise.
And about the Restoran Kaki Bola, Fried Yee Tau Mei? Where is it exactly, coz have past by near Leisure Mall, and roads near Leisure Mall, didn't c any restaurant name Kaki Bola. Is it open at nite n how much is it?
Okie, everyone, happy eating.
