How old is your friend now? when she started to have this menstrual problem? how's her body developement? not to scare ur friend, but she needs doctor to do a proper examination. Cuz depends her age and the way she presenting it, the cause of wat she having now can be serious.. ranging from genetic problem, eating disorder or thyroid problem, and maybe cuz of any medication if she taking any.
she needs to see a gynecologist... period is just like a girl's mood.. it swings when our mood swings.. so better go check it.
