You're from Malacca ? Went to zoo the other day also.
Too bad don't have telephoto. Anyway, would like to know is it hard to handheld 70-300 As I can see, most your photos are sharp enough |

Anyway, would like to know is it hard to handheld 70-300 As I can see, most your photos are sharp enough The Sigma APO 70-300mm is light enough to be handheld. I guess the A200's SSS helps in steadying the shot. |

QUOTE(nairud @ Apr 15 2008, 10:38 AM) I'd say.. if you can zoom out a bit more and capture his full reflection it'll be nicer or at least the complete head reflection Well, I'm not sure. I was shooting the tigers and suddenly one of them decided to take a drink. You know, you don't get to shoot this very often, so I zoomed out to the max wanting to capture the detail, and managed to shoot only about 5 frames before it moved away. I didn't even have time to think And... luck does matter. This post has been edited by kelvinyam: Apr 15 2008, 11:12 PM |

Another shot to share. I found this tiny fella next to macaw eating the bird's food, and took a few shots.

Should have frame it slightly lower so that the leg is not cut off? Hrmm not too sure if you are a fan of cropping. But since you already cut off the leg, why not a try cropping it so that the frame is filled with his head and arm eating the bird food?
