haha, no go class/lab means will not do. You then get the cert, will you proud of it? But sure is proud la, get certified. But if go to the real device/hand-ons, you will definitely no idea on what you are doing.

Many people trying to get the cert first then only learn the hand-on during work. But my frenz do tell me, many people with so called CCNA, CCNP, CCSP, but suck in hand-ons, many cannot even past the probation period of work. Feel shame.

Actually with the real classroom/lab of CCNA, you already in the 1 year early in the industry if compare to those without cert. I done my classroom/lab CCNA for nearly one and half year. Not use to get a "fake" Cisco cert. Your superior will know what you able to do or not able to do.

Anyway, my lecturer always told me, the fees is not so important, just enroll and go for the class, expensive never mind! It is for your own good in the future.

The pay have been cut down or even is NULL, just because nowadays many fake CCNA cert. Like me, i apply for the previous job, it do have extra RM300 for basic, just because i got CCNA cert.

i dont encourage go training center for ccna classes. just spend ur money on sybex ccna study guide by todd lamle, build a hub and spoke topology using dynamips, then u r good to go.

The Cisco Press hardcover books for the new syllabus is out already but not yet available in most local bookstores.

About the security certification, got so many certifications, so which one to choose? For a beginner like me, I wanna take something that would enable me to learn progressively and not all in one go.
