Lab simulation is for the beginner to "play" one, cheap training if compare to actual device.

In MMU, the CCNA course is about 2 years. Not like some university is only 2 weeks!!! Then get certified with only Pass4Sure. That why MMU always the Cisco competition champions!
*
I study in UM, my faculty also provide full time training course on CCNA for 2 semester,
then basic CCNP course ( network design and network management ) for another 2 semester,
so total is 2 years of duration learning CISCO networking. smile.gif

Those 2 weeks CCNA course is sponsor by MOHE under 3P Prestariang Systems Sdn Bhd to produce bunch of "fake" CCNA holder. Even those student from non-IT background also can pass. shakehead.gif

That is why now day hard to differentiate who is real CCNA , who is fake CCNA.
But once goes to hands on practice or troubleshooting Cisco Router and Switches, the winner is out there !!!

A 1760 series Router already cost Rm 2k-3k, another 2900 series Switch already cost Rm 4k-5k.

It is very expensive if wanna do self study and practice on CCNA 640-802.

The current Packet Tracer 4.1 is good enough to practice CCNA 640-802.

Other like Router Sim or those open source simulator are good enough for practise
