Hi friend,

Finally, i got these micro hi-fi system. Reasonable price, good quality and finish too. Initially, the sound really uncomfortable to my ears but after more than 70hrs 'break-in' speaker (which i believe), the speaker simply sounds a lot better, refine and accurate together with new upgraded speaker wire too... Plan to upgrade Interconnects soon. Any recomendation for interconnects?

Yamaha makes very nice and classy stuff.. stiff competition with Denon or Onkyo in its mini and midi department. Just that local distributors import just a couple or so models. Goto Akihibara in Japan and your jaw drops!.

Your rig looks nicer than the NAD rig I saw on demo at A & L AudioStation in Amcorp.

Nice and look classy.. How much is the price? btw the speaker is magnetic shield right? cos if not then dont put beside monitor lor.

i choose Yamaha because it has 'all in one' player...from DVD to Jpeg...furthermore, it offers 60W RMS per channel and at rather low distortion..


Just upgrade my YAMAHA NX-E800 Piano Craft Speaker to Monitor Audio BR2.........sounds a lot better..wow...

2 way bass reflex..
speaker got bass port behind?
if so, it will be sensitive to rear walls.

Wow nice! How much total damage? What model is this? MCR-730? And where did you buy it?

Bro, my suggestion, invest in a pair of speaker stand and better interconnect. I've tried my speaker that i placed on that kinda similar table, they don't sound good at at all. Even after burnt-in and changed to a better interconnect.
