You mean play it in the freezer? If it's up and running before you put it in the freezer technically it should continue to work. But if it's not on and you left the PS3 in the freezer for some odd reason, it might not be able to turn on until it warms up. Worst case scenario the hardware freezes and it won't be able to turn on anymore, but that shouldn't happen.
