Taking Pictures @ PC fair is much much harder than taking pictures @ zoo... errr or even other indoor enviroment...

1st of all, we have limited space(people will curse you, if you aim too long), we have limited time( people are pushing around and we have very limited lighting...( ceiling too high, wall too grey.... )phew...

so, pls dun gip bad comments la... we are sharing out our "hard-earned" photos wor ...  sad.gif

but one thing for sure... it's a good place to train our photography skill...
I tried to refrain myself but I can't. I just need to vent it out.

How is photography at a zoo any easier than PC Fair? With the PC Fair, you have every preparation you need. You knwo the venue beforehand, you know the lighting, you know the ceiling, heck you can even guess how many people are going to be there. PC Fair every year has been the same.

Ceiling too high? There is such a thing called diffusers. In fact, lambency diffuser is meant for situations where you can't bounce light off the ceiling. Can't be bothered to bring one? Then don't complain about the venue.

I love going to the zoos. I love taking photos at the zoos. You have to contend with nature. Will there be sun? Don't know. Will the animals be sleeping? Don't know. Will they be doing something unexpected? Don't know. Not only do you have to fight with nature itself, now you have to worry about removing the man-made elements. The cages, the people in the background, the railings.

So, how is shooting at a PC Fair where you know all your challenges, and the models are willing to pose for you easier than shooting at the zoo?

And if you don't want bad comments, don't post your pictures. The best way to learn is through criticism, not just fancy praises "YOUR PHOTOS ARE WOW" because that one sentence taught you nothing about photography.
