I need to know what are the available saloons for waxing. My first brazilian was at the Strip because I heard of a lot of rave bout it. But it was quite disappointing because even when they have room, but the "ceiling" part is not covered. So when I was finished with my shocking ordeal, I was greeted by a few eyes looking weirdly at me. More importantly, they actually forced me to buy their products. So if possible I would want to avoid them.
I heard that Oasis is also good but it cost over RM100 each time. I hope I can get about RM70 and below. I need a more comfortable place and good service because it's a sensitive job, every minute counts!
Any recommendations?

Strip in Bangsar. Very good!
Sorry, read your post again and just realised you didn't want Strip. But I've never had any problems with them them forcing products on me. Never bothered to buy anything either.
And yeah, their rooms are just booths ie. ceiling not covered so can hear if next door is screaming!

Is it that painful to the extent that you really screamed? How does it last before the hair starts growing back?

not really scream, but more like "ou-ouchhhh....OUCH" and repeat that till the end. it's been about 3-4 weeks and the hair starts to grow back quite a lot already...and frankly, i think brazilian waxing is too expensive for that short service.

Hot wax cost RM114, soft wax cost RM89 I think. Hot wax is recommended for first timers.
Anyway I did my 2nd waxing myself with help from my bf hehe. Just purchase a tub of Sugar Wax RM53 and the stripping cloth RM15 both from Body shop. Spatula from guardian at 30 cents hehehe. I think that tub can last for at least 3 times of waxing. And the cloth is washable and reusable~ Thrifty and much more satisfying!
