Yeah, I played before in overseas pre-release and it is exactly the same format like the one in London. Multiple flights of 32 players throughout the day and you can even draft. At least this allows us to drop from one flight and join the next flight to have better chance to win more prizes.

And another thing the prizes overseas are really good, really generous. Getting like 12 points you can win an entire booster box and packs are given during the tournament if players meet certain conditions such as first player to have 10 creatures on the board or first player to have 30 life and so on.

If CCE run 2 sessions I would enter both. Their prizes are really good for the release party

Soon, this thread will be renamed the CCE fan-club thread  smile.gif

Ok, who wants to play some poker  biggrin.gif  Ok, maybe not poker, but who likes to play boardgames?  I am proposing a Friday night get-together session in the DJ area.  I found this quaint place called Mage Cafe.  They have a great range of boardgames, including Risk Variants, Monopoly Variants, Settlers of Catan, etc.  I really like the atmosphere and crowd there... anyone want to hang out and play games there?

This place is just next to Parkson.

Just order some drinks and food. I really recommend it. Ryan (owner) is pretty nice, very family oriented place. Great to play Magic too there, there are lots of tables and sofas... Well, they have to have a lot of tables and sofas to cater for the boardgames and meals! =)

The players there also play Lo5R and Anachronism, but I hear it's mainly Lo5R. A lot of competitive gamers hang out there. Basically, they take up the whole area of a ground floor shoplot.

Thats cool. My gf loves to play board games so probably i will bring her there. Are there many ppl playing board games there?or do we need to bring out own group of friends?

On topic (since later kena marah by karry again tongue.gif ) : Sigh,I won't be able to attend the pre-release. Gotta go bangkok. Actually was wondering if there are any pre-release at bangkok, haha. Oh yea, those pre-release card u get for attending (the one with the date on it), is it legal to be used for tournament play? And another question, usually those release party, is it run simultaneously or on different days in different venue?I think I wanna join a few release party to make up for missing the pre-release.
