Dear all MTG veterans/fans,

I just entered the working world and is looking around for a hobby as a mean to destress. I am hoping to find an interesting, challenging and fun hobby and at the same time, meet up with lots of new people. MTG comes to my mind. Actually I heard of this game for many years now but never seriously consider starting it. I used to play a lot of pokemon TCG during my secondary school days and am now looking into the possibility of making a start in MTG.

The thing is, the game is so massive and huge that i don't know where to begin with. I googled and read lots of articles but im not sure if this is the right hobby for me. Besides, I am worried that this hobby may continously burn a hole in my wallet (which is bad sad.gif)

So can anyone share their experience as to why they pick up and stay with MTG in the first place? and roughly how much they spend a month on it?

Tq and i apologise if my request seems peculiar..
