QUOTE(heretic6 @ May 22 2008, 09:13 PM) actually i was talking about the dragon claws vs rdw mirror i agree ...for lark 2 win matches against faeries ...what u need is Sowers , Wispmare , Crovax , Lotsa Land Flood and quite possibly timely Rune Snags / Remove Souls/ Cryptic Commands. Many experienced players say that " If they were playing Faeries , It will never lose 2 Lark " . I disagree with their point. Lark on an experienced player has equal chance or in fact better chance against Faeries . ITs all about how you play through their counters and mistbind and a little bit of luck. |

Second Question
I have a Crovax, Ascendant Hero in Play. Opponent has Spellstutter Sprite. Can the Opponent cast the Spellstutter Sprite and use it to immediately counter a spell (before it dies) (assume no Scion of Oona in play)? Or does the -1/-1 effect take place immediately and the Spellstutter Sprite goes to the graveyard - does the trigger effect take off? Or even does the Spellstutter Sprite come into play, the effect goes on the stack, the Sprite dies, then resolve counter effect without counting the Sprite that died? Statebased effect triggers 1st before the ability is triggered. But ... If the player has say 4 mutavault in play. He may in fact activate 4 mutavault and cast the spellstutter sprite and counter for 4 or less... |

QUOTE(Playbook @ May 28 2008, 04:38 AM) Noted. I agree, except that we kinda predicted that even if making the finals, we didn't think it could push pass the Merfolk. We were discussing sideboarding before start of every round. Au Yong & I did tell u 2 play GB elves or RG aggro Funny story!!! Mihara helped Choo with sideboarding before quarterfinals started Choo was looking for Mihara after he won his quarters, but we all couldn't find him - Mihara had lost his quarters match and disappeared and thus, couldn't give tips to Choo for sideboarding the semis. Btw, Singapore contingent was all faeries except Choo. PS : In Regards to the Playmats ... ehem.... i will have 1 Spare unit for auction. So start pming me for it. Auction starts at rm65 and above .... Auction will end on 31st May 2008 @ 23:59. The highest bidder will be posted here with the price offer and i will make arrangements for the trade This post has been edited by blade825: May 28 2008, 06:59 AM |
