The first 32 to register will also be given a promo Vexing Shusher !! (pretty sure it is according to mtgsalvation). If there are more than 32 participants we will still be giving out DCI foils at our discretion.

There will also be the usual prizes like life-counters to be given away after Swiss standings have been announced.

Yep, it's settlers cafe. New owners took over from the previous owners last year.

I could be totally wrong. But I strongly doubt there are Thai packs.

The market in Thailand is not big enough to support Thai-language magic cards.

But you will have a lot of players speaking Thai.

Usually, when I am in Thailand, I play at Amarin Plaza. Arthit is one of the organisers there. If you drop me a PM, I will pass you his email address and phone number (need to dig it up from my email).

On my first time there, I noticed couples walking in. So I guess it'a very couple and group-oriented place there. I also noticed an internet terminal there (though I don't think it's for MTGO3!).

Yes, lots of board games like Axis & Allies, Settlers of Catan, Puerto Rico, CashFlow, Blokus, etc. So many! You can go there and usually find players - the owner is helpful and will teach you (and your GF) all sorts of games.

If you are in Bangkok for the weekend, why would you want to spend it playing Magic? There are so many other things to do... The food and shopping's pretty good.

MTGO3 question.

Have any of you guys been experiencing any problems launching this?

I have installed this on different machines, and for one, I am receiving the error message saying it can't find the Kicker program, and for the other, it just crashes after the Launch button is pressed.

Anyone know what the solutions are? (if they have experienced this)

i think you need to be online for the kicker program to start.......
then you need to wait a long time for it to finish loading
perhaps when the server gets online, everything will be normal

Yea .. currently the server will be down till tomorrow.

Terry has the same problem as well. He says same error message.Technically the software was designed for Vista and XP support. Therefore it shld have no issues. Anyways for the kicker programmer to load , Make sure ur connected to the internet and your Firewall or Router isnt blocking anything. If the problem still persist i suspect they still have the outstanding issue they had previously with
Dual processor computers. If such is the case, u must set The programme to run under 1 CPU. I`ll look up the key commands and post it here later...
