I watched Gamba Osaka edge Melbourne in Australia 4-3. The Ozzies were up 3-2 with about 30 mins left to play before Osaka scored 2. I thought their winger, Yasuda I think is was had a really good game and made an immediate impact after coming on. He created the winning goal for his giant teammate, Lucas I think it was.

I highly doubt it. I mean if they can get trounced by teams from Singapore... well... let's just say I'm not too optimistic. Even when I watch the highlights of matches on the new, I see a distinct lack of quality and highlights are supposed to show you the good parts.

i confuse with this,FIFA Confederations Cup is for national team right
and FIFA World Cup Club is for a club and normally AFC will send a team which won AFC Champions League to FIFA World Cup Club

We are going round in circles. This issue has been discussed to death. I was an avid supporter until corruption and politics came into the picture. To support the league, is to ensure those greedy gits get rich. Respect is earned, not given.

what is this topic for actually? is it for AFC Cup or is it for AFC Champions League?

AFC Cup = UEFA Cup
AFC Champions League = European Champions League

based on the opening post, it seems like the TS wanted to talk about AFC Cup in which we did have 2 representative in the form of the treble champion Kedah and Perak. am not sure about Perak (will leave that to Perak supporter) but Kedah IINM is 1 win away from qualifying to the next round. Kedah beat South China 3-0 tonight at Darulaman thanks to goals from Marlon Alex James and Nelson Sam Martin who scored a brace

for a young squad like Kedah, qualifying to the next round is a respectable achievement IMO. the team had 0 experience for Asian level club competition and it is next year actually coach Azraai marked his target to go far in the competition. and Kedah will be back in the competition next year anyway

i did not watch the match, so i won't complaint too much. however i will not act as if the scoreline did not bother me at all

it was indeed an embarrassing scoreline, more so it happened to our treble champion. Kedah should have prepared better for that match i.e. practicing in the turf ground before going to S'pore as we played them on the their turf ground etc. but we all know how incompetence FAM is in doing almost everything. the tight schedule for our local football season did not help Kedah and Perak 1 bit in their quest in AFC Cup. was it really hard to arrange a favourable football season schedule for our local football? Kedah and Perak are representing Malaysia afterall in that competition

i'm looking forward to the final group match between Kedah and Home United at Darulaman. there we can really see how much is the gap between Malaysian club level and S'pore club level. i'd like to believe that it was certainly not a '5-1' gap in favour of the Singaporean club, but we'll see for sure after that match finish
