To answer your question

Bump is a function to put your thread on top of the list again... so there's a "(bump)" word.
Last posted name will still remain the same. It's been always like this... sweat.gif

EDIT : In short, you bump the thread, not post in your thread to bump your thread.

I found a bug with bump, but different matter.

e.g. I bump my 1st thread at 12:30am. Then 2nd thread I bump after 1:30am. There's more than an hour gap, but still my 1st thread goes down to 11 something pm. I thought that the difference should be 30 minutes only, no? sweat.gif

Err.... could it be your time and setting issue??

You mean the 1st thread bumped @ 12.30am today changed to 11 something pm yesterday after you bumped the 2nd thread?

Yup, exactly nod.gif

By right it shouldn't change because I bumped my 2nd thread after 1 hr (usually if you bump your 2nd thread within 30 mins after 1st thread, your 1st thread will go down with a 30 mins difference with the time you bump your 2nd thread)

Because the time gap is not 30 minutes.... whistling.gif

T/S: <user's ID>(bump) ==> bump is just means your topic be bumped before until you got a new reply & the bump will be lost! whistling.gif

The behavior you described is how I originally coded it.

Long story cut short, the code was lost, and I re-coded it in a easier way but behaves slightly differently. It works well enough, so I'm leaving it as it is for now.
