Well it depends on a couple factors

1)What modded chip are you using,. If you're using a wiikey (like I did before) you can't play Super smash bros brawl unless you update the chip firmware. To make matters worse if your chip is a clone one (Like mine) you stuck and can't do anything about it. The only thing to do is to take it out or replace it

How to tell a clone from a original wiikey

You need a tri-wing screwdriver (is a Y shaped screwdriver only available in ebay or the states). Check you wiikey has a hologram logo on it. Plus you can just google it and they will give you a diagram on the clones and the original

2) If you have a wiikey, under NO circumstances put an ORIGINAL Super Mario Galaxy. If you do that you techinally screwed. It will update you wiikey firmware and you have to do a reboot of the firmware (really a lot of technical work) then you can play back all your copy games.

3)If you have a D2Ckey or D2pro chip your fine. You can play your original games. But as you know with every release of a new nintendo game, they will probably upgrade the firmware to stop people from playing backup games

4)Lastly, if you do have the money to spare, go original. IF you're like me who only buy the best of all the crap and just like to test most of the games stay with a mod chip. Just be carefull and always go around the net before trying a new game on. You never know... It could be your last.

Mod edit: Please becareful with what you typed, I've edited some parts -sihum

there is a way to avoid that. Either update your frimware.

but the problem with updating your frimware it will cause your mod chip to stop functioning (some firmwares are known to do that)/ there is another way but I cant discuss it here.

Sorry sihum... about the modded talk. Any more sensitive questions please PM me. I'll try to answer.
