even now, i read a news that says in german (if i remember correctly) already iphone dropped price to $155.
and that's even b4 3G model out but just the news becomes solid

why the apple don't just launch IPhone to the whole world?Thn whole world can use it juz like other hp company Nokia SE Moto etc. And apple also can earn the huge profit too.

Apple already earning alot from iPhone sales let alone in the States. The reason why is that it's exclusive and locked to AT&T network for now, and they already gain alot from the States smartphone market share.

Launching it on other countries will have it's crisis also. If certain countries can't adapt to it then it will be overstocked.

they just need to sell little and earn a lot with the current way, with the contract. (profitability)
it's not easy to convince telcos from every part of this world to adopt the same business model, considering that the iPhone itself is not gonna priced that cheap without being subsidized. (market)
a lot of people thinks that an EDGE phone doesn't deserve the current price tag, eventhough if it got 3G they r not using it either. (mentality)

when Apple released the 3G version, then it will be easier to be marketed around the world.

Most likely apple can make some kind of "arrangement" to top up the old phone , this is how the made business, cause I dont see any point on holding the 3G on their first release. Its so obvious that they are squezzing more and more to the apple lovers like us.

Well my iPhone is on the way to Malaysia now and I dont think Malaysia's 3G is worth to use. Most of the place you find 3G will have a good wifi connection so why bother with 3G. The coverage sucks.
