lolz... ATi only weakness is AA... the rest already pwn nVidia... ATi is still owns the GPU Raw power champion... nVidia only pay some fee the game developers to optimize the game engines when nVidia cards are detected... shakehead.gif

what matters is how the game is played, tech specs don't really matter smile.gif Raw GPU power, FPS all means nothing if you can't play the game how you want it to be played.

Which is why I like HardOCP's reviewing method, that looks at what settings the cards can play, and compare image quality as well. A far better way to benchmark and decide what card would suit you best. On the sidenote, Nvidia drivers > ATI drivers tongue.gif

Sure but its still beneficial to consumer at the end of the day, see some one with a low end Nvidia graphic could achieve more FPS which would normally be laggy without opimization. Some calls it cheating but to me it still benefits consumers.
Still i'm an ATI fella through and through, also i still feel abit weird about my C2D laugh.gif

Cuz they have money to sustain the whole driver development team
ATI drivers arent as bad as they used to be but still not as good as Nvidia and that i must admit
The stability of Nvidia's driver is first class.
On the other hand with ATI you'll need to be some sort of geek to used it laugh.gif

There is some sort of slight lag when opening programs, as compare to my AMD system its much more instant ?
My c2d e6600 and 3.06 ghz while my a64 at 2.4 ghz.
Perhaps its the memory implementation of both processors?
AFAIK amd memory controller is nearer to the core while intel one is farther?

Edit: AMD is ON DIE while Intel is at Northbridge tongue.gif
