apparently if someone posted a picture that is too big that it accomodates the outmost border of the forum space, it wouldn't look nice. except for those who own an uber-sized monitor or etc. so, hereby i suggest this feature to be implemented. all pictures will automatically be resized to a reasonable form factor non-relying to imageshack thumbnail feature or whatnot. as seen here, rigourous efforts is much appreciated for the betterment of all.

Is there a widespread problem with large images here? I feel that our forumers have the correct etiquette of posting appropriately resized pictures. (except for those who posted longcat..)

I looked at a sample of 10000 recently posted pictures.
3945 were 250px wide or less. 7338 were 500px wide or less. 9209 were 750px wide or less. 9791 were 1000px wide or less. 9961 were 1250px wide or less. Only 39 were wider than 1250px.
I really think there isn't any problem worth solving here.
