Is it worth to buy vista komanwel condo? Anybody know about the market price of Vista Komanwel Block A, B and C? What I know regarding Block A, the price is around RM180k; Block B and C is around RM200k, is it true? I am intended to buy a unit of Vista Komanwel Condo. But, not sure which block should I buy?

You buy it for what purpose? Own stay or investment?
If own stay, I think you can get better condo elsewhere. For investment, you can only make it via rental not price appreciation. Condo prices are falling for all 3 blocks.

don judge a condo nice or not based on other ppl's comment only, at the end of the day, for own staying, believe ur own feeling n familiarity of tht area n tht property. if u like tht place n the neighbourhood + the food n shopping place n the traffic there , no one can stop u from buying it.
always work the sheet of advantages vs disadvantages facts , different ppl takes different point with different weight.
i think vista komanwel is not too bad, given the price n location, rental income oso not bad. the set back is the maintenance of the buildings.

I lived in Vista Komanwel for several years. Overall I agree with what's generally been stated already, it's a good investment purely for rental. Many people like the place because it's close to the LRT station, plus there's a steady stream of (rich) students in IMU.
However there are maintenance issues. The elevators are frequently not working or partially working, very annoying for residents. There are water leaks in the apartments themselves, the parquet flooring in the bedrooms are usually in bad shape after ~10 years plus sometimes you get water damage on the ceilings from the apartment above you. You'll probably have to fix or replace the existing AC and water heater units soon because they're already quite old. I'm not sure about the clubhouse now since I left ~2004 but the pools and gym are sometimes not in the best shape.
I decided not to buy, even when my landlady offered it to me at that time for a pretty reasonable price.

Dont buy Vista Komanwel or you will regret it. Especially if you are intended to stay for yourself and not renting out.
