I use Clinique's DDML for when I don't go out and Clinique's SuperDefense Triple Action SPF25 for when I do go out. Very happy with both. Recently though my skin is abit parched so if I don't go out, I'll dab a few drops of Bio-Oil on my face then put on DDML.

Btw, did you want recommendations for night or day use?

Biotherm Aquasourse is quite good as I'm using it myself as a night cream (usually) or as a day cream during winter. Get the one that suits your skin type. There's two type of Aquasource: dry (pink bottle, creamy texture) and normal-combination (green bottle, light gel-like texture). Hope that help smile.gif

if u prefer lighter moisturiser, try active moist. nod.gif

Creme De La Mer is good but I think you gotta use a couple of tubs to see the difference. I only used one and didn't see any sad.gif

And don't you feel that sometimes more is wasted on your fingers (when you rub the cream on your fingertips) than on the face? But a friend tried the Serum & the Creme together and she looked fantastic.

it really depends on your skin type lo. I have dry skin tht's why it works for me. If you'd like to have a lower budget, you can try origin's Balanced Diet or A Perfect World. That would be a cheaper counter brand and really not expensive. they're good especially A Perfect World

If you wanna go for pharmacy brand, Himalaya's nourishing face cream is quite good too. I'm using that.

many people don't follow the proper usage and actually don't see results. that cream damn sensitive one la. cuz it's like a live culture.must ikut ikut the instructions only can work. no la, when u rub between your fingers you use less compared that you just slap it onto the skin la. haha. but thank the heavens, it helped with my scar and eczema tht's why I love it.

clinique moisture surge is not so much of a moisturizer though. it's just for added hydration. you can't really substitute it as a moisturizer. for clinique products, using just one product doesn't work one. you have to use the 3-step as well. sleep.gif oh! but the clarifying lotion is helpful because it does help to remove dead skin cells with salycilic acid also helps with the absorption of moisturizers.

nah. it's a misconception. for mature skin cuz it's bladi expensive that mostly rich aunties and datins can buy. haha. Well, I"m 21. it helped so much with my scars and eczema and hyper dry and prone to allergy skin. my rich friend can use for baby nappy rash some more. sleep.gif but if you don't have the budget for it, don't be bothered with it la. no matter how good, it's still a luxury item. I'm always on a look out for a cheaper alternative. sometimes there are but it may just take longer time or you may have to use more products or something.

but girls, always remember that different ppl have different skin. May work for one, may not for another. There's no guarantee in skin care. it's all trial and error. unless u buy amway's artistry la. I think got guarantee. haha. Also, sometimes (as quoted from a close friend) different ppl different eyes. when you use a product, got difference also you can't tell because some ppl are hoping for miracle they don't notice any slight improvement. So if you wanna know if a product is really working on you, please take a "before" picture. After 6 months or so, take another picture. see the difference.

I never knew the difference that creme de la mer had on me until i compared this. mind you, I don't use anything else that's special compared to last time and I don't go for facials. only difference is creme de la mer. and actually my habits got worse than before as in I sleep late, smoke, put alot of makeup etc. etc.
All pictures got no makeup on. used the same camera. I didn't even notice how much weight I've lost until i look back at the pictures >.<

I'm passionate and thankful for la mer for what it has done for my skin but it's not something affordable for those with low budget. so, it's ok to try other alternatives like vitamin E oil and all that for scars, exfoliation for dullness, daily hydration masks... it may take time but it'll cost a lot less. so have to be patient.
