wan 2 install a pickup

how can i do it myself?any youtube tutorial?

basicali its easy...
jz get the suction pump...
heat the old solder, and suck the old1 away..
den put on the new pickups with the new solder
wiring diagram can search on9

u can try do it urself
and learn from experience after a few tries
or u can save the hassle and send for a pro job

be sure your guitar is crappo for experimenting. Or maybe you're rich enough to play with fire

You gotta know if they're humbuckers or single coils.

And also whether they will fit in the body/pickguard.


Better check/read wiring diagrams leh.

It affects the switches too.

Trying to transplant pickups from 3 to 5 way switch etc will be disaster if you don't know how those switches works, so that's why need to study/read wiring diagrams.

But if both guitars are identical setups and pickup types, i guess you will have less problems to deal with.

My past experience changing pickups from Bentley, the service charge is RM60.

I sent mine to the Guitar Shop in Hartamas..... excellent work.
RM50 per pickup changed also........

Soldering is an easy job but for those who do not dare to handle the work, just pass it to the guitar technician.

Learn a bit will not hurt.

chaging a humbucker 2 a humbucker

both is a 2-1-2

Should be fine but the height might differs. Give it a try.
