@D-Zire
Since u have 2 themes folder, it already show something is wrong. It should only have 1 theme folder and with some files in it. Looks like a symlink problem to me. My advice (abit technical), uninstall winterboard, check symlink in /Library/Themes and where it point it to. If it point to one of the 2 folders, then delete the one thats not relevant. Re-do the symlink to point it back to the right folder. Then install back winterboard. I think that should solve the problem. |

Actually david, winterboard can apply summerboard theme without problem. Thats the beauty of Winterboard. U just need to put it in /private/var/mobile/Library/SummerBoard/Themes. BTW Masamune ... do u have WbApp? That app can nicely compliment Winterboard as you can preview the theme first before applying it.

QUOTE(davidgary73 @ Aug 29 2008, 09:57 AM) Very cool Yeap by default that folder /SummerBoard/Themes is not there. We need to create it ourselves.You're the man frozzbyte Edit: frozzbyte bro /private/var/mobile/Library/SummerBoard/Themes works fine as i need to create the (SummerBoard/Themes) folders which by default does not have it. The summerboard theme does appear in winterboard but the theme that Masamune wanted to us does not work. Tried it and all i get was the default iphone icons. May need to change the icon names as all are named icon.png. What theme did Masamune wanted to apply? I didn't check it last time and yes the icons in the icon folder must be named exactly like it shows at springboard i.e SMS is text.png, Mail is mail.png, installer.png and so on. Icon.png are the default name in their respective app folder. If you got a lot of icons then it would be a hassle to rename it all one by one. Added on August 29, 2008, 12:26 pmIf use WbApp, it can even separate WinterBoard themes from SummerBoard themes. This post has been edited by frozzbyte: Aug 29 2008, 12:26 PM |
