how do you customize ur page which restict a numbers of application per page or based on apps. like game, personal, setting, whatever....

Is there need a theme manager required to install all these themes? im on 1.1.4.....

tried to install summerboard but none of them are for 1.1.4... tried to picked the latest one (i guess its latest) and says its not competible with mine but can continue. so, which one is it actually?

yah... sumthing is wrong definately... i just restored and jailbreaked in less than 15 miniutes rather than i wait it to boot up heheheheee.... my bad! i installed the "summerboard3:2" not "summerboard".....

Added on June 12, 2008, 1:41 pmIts working now... i didnt install using installer.app... i use pc suite.... after install "summerboard3.2", dont restart using pc suite... turn off and manualy boot em up... nice!!

Some usefull tutorials :-

Download tons of summerboard themes from pc HERE

Then follow these instruction :- (Copied form HERE)

How to connect to your iPhone (1.1.4) and add a Summerboard theme:
1) Via Installer.app, install BSD Subsystem and OpenSSH (found in the ‘System’ Category)
2) Go to Settings> Wi-Fi > (Network Name) and click on the blue arrow to get your IP address.
3) In Transmit (or other SFTP capable app), enter the following information to connect:
~IP Address
~Username: root
~Password: alpine (not ‘dottie’!)
~Mode: SFTP
5) Once connected, navigate to /private/var/mobile/Library/Summerboard/Themes. There are, it seems, 2 locations for Summerboard themes, but for the 1.1.4 iPhone, this is the one SMB prefs reads from – iPod Touch may be different.
Upload the theme folder and change permissions on the folder (and its contents) to 755
6) The theme will now show up in the SMB prefs menu! Hurrah!

P/S: Forget step 1,2 and 3 if u are using iphone browser or pcsuite....

how come you guys can hold on to that themes heheheheeee.... tested 2.0 just for d sake of testing only and now downgraded back.... SMB needed....

That latest winterboard just dont work on my 2.1... how come? installed thru cydia... once installed and restarted, none of the said default saurik's themes is on d list... list are just blank with tiny hair lines.... tried to dL Zunda themes and also didnt appeared on the list after respring...

Googling around tell me to copy the .plist from winterboard.apps to preference but those also aint working... as far as i understood, this version 0.9.2520-2 is the latest one as at 13.08.08 that fix these mess but i am yet to enjoy them...

Any other tips?

Waaa.. its not there in cydia nomore ah? i mean, winterboard is on the list but once i press install, the statistic showing:-

Downloading : 0.0B
Resuming : 0.0B
Disk Using : 0.0B

What happened? oh ya, during the uninstallation before, the file read 0.0B on my phone.... But on SSH, that apps do exist in it.. weird....

Can you please give me the full directory to place that themes? by default, there is already "Saurik.theme" inside this directory (/private/var/stash/Themes) and the contents of Saurik.theme is same as your uploaded files... along in the Themes folder, there is also some other folder named Time of Day which i have downloaded earlier using cydia.... but it just dont work... Untill now, Saurik is still a gay boy

Added on August 14, 2008, 2:39 pmHaiyah... still not working... already checked all folder for permission 755 and rebooted, yet still not there in d list... its ok, will reinstall everything back again... im thinking of pwning another ipsw with larger partition... for now, im at 500mb with only cydia+youtubefix... already bosstools'ed things and gain some xtra space... or perhaps i get d bad ipsw original template... which 2.1 restore ipsw template did u guys exactly use?
