Well the codes are given to the designated toys by the mannufactures respectively. Typically its understood

That would be from the MasterPiece line of toys from Takara, and the 4th in the series hence the 04.

Sometimes, not all toys are given codes, such as the Classics and the Henkei (Edited, Henkei line has codes according to samus, stated on the box). But when there is codes, its usually stated on the box.
Another example would be the GC-01

Red color is just a homage to Hot Rod / Rodimus. Hence the flames.

Exillion was originally in blue ? Why not get the ori color ?

I wouldnt consider Exillion rodimus. Thats like saying U.Magnus is OP.

Was wondering, how do you tell if a Takara Masterpiece is TRULY an MISB ? I see some at the shops without this plastic film wrapped around it, some with... do different MP's comes wrapped ? And vice versa ?

EG: i see some megatrons (05) are wrapped some are not. What about the rest ?

No official re-issues of this particular toy, in fact of any other MP's.
From what i know of / heard, its like this

People in hong kong buy massive amounts of these units, and keep it stocked up. After a certain period only will they release it for sale back to the public with a 'gorenged' amount. Basically they toy with supply and demand, which inevitably affects price.

Of course, those who did not have the chance to purchase it then at RM 400++ will be at the losing end.

Someone was saying that some masterpieces go up until 1,500 ringgit in price. I've seen MP-04's for sale at the price of RM 2000 ringgit

Personally, i would avoid all these shops., though a poster here claimed that he/she was shown the cashbook and people actually do buy for that amount. Where there is demand, there will be supply and vice versa. In this case, its a definate case of "gotta have it no matter what' syndrome.

In anycase, the one where i mentioned MP-04 was priced at 2,000 ringgit was the toy shop in Berjaya Times Square, Toy Quest if im not mistaken.
I don't know of any other shops which gorenged, and im still curious to know other shops that do, so i can just simply avoid them.



Don't get me wrong yea, im not against reasonable gorenging. Someone's gotta make a living, but 2,000 is just absurd.

Its hard to say, encore was re-issued after a very very long time ?
I reckon if you have such patience then by all means do wait out.

But until there is no official word from the manufacturers themselves, its best to assume that there wont be any.
Hope is a strong thing to hang on to though.

They only hoard those that are extremely good ones. From what i heard, only the good things. Things you just KNOW will go up in price.
They did the same thing with the MP-01's. Everyone thought it was a re-issue when they re-released it back to the market.
Now its just a repeat performance. Only with an added trailer.

Wow, love the details on premium bumblebee, looks like i will be getting him.
Although i do feel a bit edgy that both BB's didnt have the roof painted with the racing stripes,.. kinda makes it look less uniformed.
I know i know, it wasnt painted in the movie.. but still ! Hehe just a personal preference.
