NBTD while waiting in hotel room for dinner.

Too bad didn't have a tripod otherwise this might be a good candidate shoot for HDR. sad.gif

Yup. You gotta remember that what you see in human eyes most of the time will be different from what you snapped. You can get only one part of the photo captured with all the details while the rest in shadow, or blown out in highlights.

In order to get good details from the whole pic when the spots are not evenly lit up, you'll have to do multiple exposure and HDR processing. biggrin.gif

Wow - never know spider have many eyes only know 8 legs, now I feel interested to do macro.

Maybe can try 3rd party macro lens. They are much cheaper than nikkor one.

Or you can buy a MSN202 but beware that it only has a very short working range (1 cm+/-). >_<

if want to shoot behind glass.. go as close to the glass..even better kasi melekat...haa.. or, can zoom to the object la... so..the focus would be on the subject.. not the glass  icon_rolleyes.gif

Or... use a CPL. That would work as well. tongue.gif

Today test my semi-macro.

[b]Camera Model - [D60]
[b]Lens - [Sigma 70-300 APO]
[b]Aperture - [5.6]
[b]Shutter Speed - [1/60]
[b]ISO - [900] So bright also ISO900

IMHO should give more DOF on this. The petals are abit soft due to the DOF too shallow.

Just my 2c.

Yup. You can try manual mode also. It's not that hard after you get the hang of it.
