![]() Camera: Nikon D40 Lens: 50mm f/1.8 Aperture: f/2.8 Shutter Speed: 1/400 ISO: 200 Adjustment: -0.5 EV NBTD while waiting in hotel room for dinner. Too bad didn't have a tripod otherwise this might be a good candidate shoot for HDR. This post has been edited by da3shou3: Apr 18 2008, 01:00 AM |

Yup. You gotta remember that what you see in human eyes most of the time will be different from what you snapped. You can get only one part of the photo captured with all the details while the rest in shadow, or blown out in highlights.
In order to get good details from the whole pic when the spots are not evenly lit up, you'll have to do multiple exposure and HDR processing. |

Added on April 30, 2008, 2:16 pm QUOTE(hanafinoor @ Apr 30 2008, 01:56 PM) Maybe can try 3rd party macro lens. They are much cheaper than nikkor one.Or you can buy a MSN202 but beware that it only has a very short working range (1 cm+/-). >_< This post has been edited by da3shou3: Apr 30 2008, 02:16 PM |

QUOTE(A9001 @ May 2 2008, 11:47 PM) Today test my semi-macro. IMHO should give more DOF on this. Yup. You can try manual mode also. It's not that hard after you get the hang of it.
