how to lasso ah?  sweat.gif  i find i can only manually delete parts i dun want. mind teach teach?  laugh.gif

using the lasso tool at photoshop. u lasso the area u want to left ungrayscaled > duplicate the layer >right click and select inverse > delete > go to background layer and grayscale it.

i use NikColor Efex Pro plugin to grayscale the background. easier.

dgrebel, actually right, u no need delete after u lasso it, from there if u know how to use masking, its better to use masking coz u wont lose the image.

when you do masking, the image is still there, so u can go back to reedit the image later on, if u delete, u will need to start over again.
*
true. but i'm just giving another option. masking is far better.
