Underexpose have nothing to do with time what...
If it's dim ambience lighting, set a longer exposure period. If it's blur then, use a tripod on it.
Time? I just said that it might be somewhat underexposed though i'm not so sure as i can't remember what the ambient light conditions were then. If i knew what the ambient light condition was, i wouldn't have said that it might be a little underexposed. If it's dim ambience lighting, set a longer exposure period. If it's blur then, use a tripod on it.

I am planning to get my 1st dslr. So, I totally know nuts about it.
I have a question. Do you guys adjust manually the aperture, iso, shutter speed everytime you shoot. If that's the case, wouldn't it be very slow to shoot 1 photo?
Depends. If i'm shooting at an event, usually i just use the preset modes, which is quicker since there is little to no time to compose. You don't need to use all the modes on the camera. My usual suspects are landscape, portrait, sports, A, S, P and M. Though i tend to use portrait and A and P a lot.I have a question.
