i'd like to ask, did u use the viewfinder or the live view to compose these shots. as far as i know, when using live view, the camera will jump to contrast detection. if that is the case, i think that's why most of your shots are mainly soft, as your shots are taken in low light, contrast is quite low. this is my guessing. correct me if im wrong. or you did meant the pics to be soft for the effects?
