Long time didn't post, yesterday took some nice shots to share with you guys. It's a nice and beautiful beach in Sarawak, The Similajau Beach, located about 1.5hrs drive from Miri. You comments and critics are most welcome..

My guess is Canon EOS 30D + Sony A700 .. brows.gif

I used to live at Miri when I was Form 1...

My secondary school just nearby Miri beach ...

Miss it .. the day of living so close to mother of nature ...

Hi TS, I've been to Similajau a few times but I've never come across the landscapes in pic. 4 and 5. Is it near the Similajau National Park HQ area?
I've been to Similajau's Turtle Beach 1 & 2 and the extremely hard to reach Golden Beach as well. Where exactly can I find it? Looks very nice.

Nice scenery. This beach/seaside will give superb sunset shots if you know how to tweak or play around with the camera. Do check out Digital Camera Malaysia Feb & Mar 08 issue for some tips.

Yes, u can definately see the sunset, but unfortunately we i didn't wait for the sunset, cos need to drive back to Miri, which is about 1.5hrs drive, and also all the gangs are tired after few hours of walking along the beach.

i believe HDR will be very nice, but unfortunately, didn't bring my tripod, and further more haven't try HDR yet, must try it out next time, cos it looks good.
