i jus saw an ad in a shop in KK (Kota Kinabalu, Sabah) , selling iphone WITH APPLE's ONE YEAR WARRANTY!! is this possible? the seller said the lowest price for 8GB is rm2300...

the price on retail said

8GB - RM 2636
16GB - RM 31++ forgot oledi..

amazing, dint tot i could see iphone with apple warranty in KK first rather than KL..

that warranty offered by the phone stall, not from apple. if got prob, they would help u claim the warranty from manufacturer

mmm...actually, iPhone is like any GSM phones in market. only that it's being locked to its contracted telco. that's where the unlock goes in.
so nope, looks like no "supported firmware" or any stuff alike that comes to your mind will be made available IMHO. in fact, all current iPhones from different countries are using the same version of firmware.

i think he might referring to "apple m'sia iphone version" which officially bring by apple m'sia later.. am i correct?

since its avail. locally, so, u seeking explanation bout "ori" unlocked firmware for m'sia telco carrier aite??

btw i really hope that we also can have official version. and not tied with any contract / lock. and another important thing is the warranty.
but yeah if the price is right.

i dont think apple gonna do that, besides, the price shall be pricy if apple release it with unlock firmware
